FESTIVE NETWORKING AT THE GONVILLE

It all felt festive

Wow, it’s good to be back hosting events and getting like-minded foodies together again.

It was so great to host our first in-person event since the 17th of March 2020. Our online events during the pandemic were fun but not as much fun as seeing people all in the same room chatting and making great connections.

We were delighted to have 41 guests join us at The Gonville Hotel, Cambridge. It was great to see so many new faces. We had guests from all over the country which was great to see.

The evening started with a lovely welcome glass of English Sparkling wine from Saffron Grange. A huge thank you to the Saffron Grange team for starting the evening in such a delicious way.

It was great to collaborate with Bread & Jam and have both Tara and Jason at the event sharing their foodie knowledge and advice.

Our guest speaker was Jonathan from Toiser Chocolate and it was great to hear how they had built the brand but also on the frustrating effects of Brexit on the brands ability to export. It was great to have questions from the other attendees. And it is safe to say everyone really enjoyed sampling the delicious chocolate, we understand an order has already been made by an attendee. If you weren’t lucky enough to attend the event and sample Toiser Chocolate, we would highly recommend trying this award-winning bean-to-bar chocolate for yourself, it truly is the most delicious chocolate we have sampled.

The evening was completed with our now famous goodie bags packed with reading and treats thank you to: WBC, Velvet Magazine, Guild of Fine Food, Mavick, Pasta Remoli, Dr Funk, Howes Percival and More people for all the goodies.
